If you get good internet, the H6 should be fine. You will never get total perfection, and there will always be something newer that is a bit better. For the price the M51a-H6 is very hard to beat. Good sound, and unusual for that price point it has dedicated HDMI-in port and supports a wide range of audio formats - lossy and lossless versions of Dolby and DTS, and multi-channel LPCM. There is a menu setting on the M51a-H6 for turning atmos on/off - maybe worth double checking.Agree up firing speakers seem to make no difference. I notice in specs the M51a is a bit shorter, which would be better for my TV, since the M512a is ½" taller, right at bottom edge of tv. Thanks for the reply.
