You are decreasing overall cartridge length, which equates to less velocity at the muzzle and less energy, as well as less recoil. I tried the factory plastic one that came with my P365 380 once just for the experience but went to my Uplula after the first round.The flat faces forward in the closed position. The rear end of the guide rod rests on the takedown lever (or pin). This requires the guide rod to protrude at the muzzle by about 3/16" or the difference between flat up and flat forward. If the guide rod is stuck at the muzzle the slide will stop about where your pic shows.So I got a sig P365 with a born date of 7/24/2018, anyone experiencing any issues with the same or around the same DOB? However TRS issues at Sig Talk and all of the P365 owners is 8 people and a Round count of 425 or less. A very small group. I suggest you watch the videos that are available for the non-safety version and you will see there isn't any difference in the procedure. Since SIG uses a combat hold zero for the iron sights, you can't get a full co-witness with the 407K/507K/EPS Carry on the 365 with the stock iron sights. You can barely see the top of the irons with the 407k/507k and manage a center hold zero. The EPS Carry is a lower deck height but you still can't get a full combat hold zero.P365. With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull.
